The basis of my work forms around drawing from life. Understanding shape, form and character have been essential to my stylistic development.
My images start with strong line drawings, to which I add found and made textures to develop an idiosyncratic, organic feel. Similarly, my characters develop around strong anatomical foundations brought to life by concentrating on quirks and exaggerations.
These elements, coupled with an emphasis on the play of light and shadow, come together to define my own individual style.
